Overview

Checking in a pet in the Business Portal is a crucial step in bringing the pet inside and ensuring they are scheduled for the correct services and time slots. Check-in can only be done once the appointment is in a confirmed state. You can check in pets through various sections, including the Daily Snapshot, Appointments Tab, Easy Check-In, and Pet/Pet Owner Details Page. The process allows staff to track arrivals and capture essential details like appointment notes and feeding/medication information.

Checking in a pet can be done through various screens, as outlined below:

• Appointments Tab
• Easy Check-In
• Pet / Pet Owner Details Page

Just to let you know, before checking in a pet, the specific appointment must be confirmed.

Daily Snapshot :

1. Navigate to the Daily Snapshot and Click on the Check-in icon.

2. Depending on the service configured, The immunization required pop-up will appear for the pet you are trying to check in. Review the immunization details or choose to ignore them and proceed to the next step. 

3. You can add the pet's appointment notes, belongings, and feeding/medication information, and then Click the Check-In button at the top to proceed. 

4.  Once checked in, you can see this popup to view the run card of the pet

Appointments Tab:

1. Navigate to the Appointments tab. 

2. Click the Check-In icon and follow the same steps as in the Daily Snapshot. 

Easy Check-In:

1. Click the Easy Check-In option in the header section. 

2. Select the Service and Pet, then click the Check-In button to proceed. 

Pet / Pet Owner Details Page:

1. Navigate to the specific Pet or Pet Owner page. 

2. Click the Check-In icon and follow the same steps as in the Daily Snapshot. 

You can also check in the pet while adding the appointment.
