Sending SMS/Text Messages in RunLoyal
PLEASE NOTE: The system will send all messages by default through the app. It will automatically send an email if the customer is not signed up in the app or has not accepted app notifications.
Use these steps to send an SMS/Text message instead while in the Message Hub. (Requires the SMS/Text Message add-on feature.)
Access Message Hub:
Go to your RunLoyal staff portal on a Google Chrome browser.
Click on Message Hub.
Search Customer:
3. Search for the associated customer name that you would like to send a message to.
Adjust Browser Resolution (If Needed):
4. Sometimes the browser window may cut off the bottom of the Message Hub screen.
Adjust your resolution in Google Chrome by clicking the three dots in the top-right corner and reducing the size using the (-) sign.
Skip this step if your screen displays correctly.
Select a smaller screen resolution if needed.
Send SMS/Text Message:
6. Click on the dropdown arrow at the bottom of the screen and select SMS instead of APP (APP is selected by default).
Create your message and press Enter to send.
Note: SMS/Text messages are an additional feature. If you do not see an SMS option, email puppylove@runloyal.com to sign up for the add-on.
Confirm Message Sent:
7. Your message will appear on the screen if sent successfully.
If the message does not appear, refresh your screen before resending.
