Customize Web Link Process

There are 4 ways that you can customize your web booking link.
-Pet type -defaulting the pet type button to dog, cat, etc. 

-Defaulting to a certain service - We can default to select the button for daycare 

- Defaulting your clients to your packages. 


For all of these you will want to start with your defaulted booking URL. You can find this by going to settings>promotions>weblinks>to the right of "Book appointment online" copy the URL. It should look something like this with your business name https://runloyaldestination.runloyal.com/book

1. The first way is defaulting the pet type filed to a specific pet type. To find which pet type you want to default you will need to go to settings>pet configuration>animal types>next to the type you want to default in this case I want dog. I am going to hover over the *i* and it gives me a number of 6971(picture below for reference).

Now I need to take my default URL https://runloyaldestination.runloyal.com/book > add   /#/?petType= > add the number from the pet type section 6971 so my final URL is:
https://runloyaldestination.runloyal.com/book/#/?petType=6971. 

You will need to use the URL on your website going forward.

2. Defaulting to a certain service

Using the same default URL https://runloyaldestination.runloyal.com/book you will then need to get the code for the service. This can be done under settings>service configuration>on the left select the edit button for your main service of boarding for example (or find the service you are wanting to default). At the top of the pop-up you will see an *i* next to "Edit Service Category" and you will want to take down the number. In my case, the number is 2764.

Now I need to take my URL https://runloyaldestination.runloyal.com/book > add:
/#/?reservationType=2764&openAccordion=true . Make sure to fill in your specific number in the yellow. Defaulted is my service. 

My total URL is https://runloyaldestination.runloyal.com/book/#/?reservationType=2764&openAccordion=true

Result: Defaults the booking link to just the boarding services

3. Defaulting your clients to your packages. Starting with the same default URL https://runloyaldestination.runloyal.com/book you will then want to add /#/?package=true. My final URL will look like this:
https://runloyaldestination.runloyal.com/book/#/?package=true

Result:

-There will be a few second delay for the page to switch over to packages
-You will want to make sure that you have packages turned on for your web links. Under settings>operations>personalization>select web link tab at the top>turn the toggle for "allow package purchase" to the very right of this line press the save button.
