Creating Price Tags in RunLoyal
All settings-related updates must be done on a desktop or laptop using Google Chrome.
Accessing Price Tag Settings
Go to Settings.
Click on Pricing.
Select Price Tags.
Creating Pet Price Tags
From the Price Tag For dropdown, select Pet to create price tags for individual pets.
Select Pet Owner if you prefer the tag to apply to the entire household instead of per pet.
Click Add Price Tag in the top-right corner.
Enter the following details:
Name: A descriptive label (example: Employee or Senior Pet).
Description: A short explanation of the tag’s purpose or criteria.
Click Add to save.
Click OK to close the creation window.
Creating Pet Owner Price Tags
From the Price Tag For dropdown, select Pet Owner.
Click Add Price Tag to begin.
Enter the following details:
Name: A clear label (example: Loyalty Member, First-Time Customer, Family).
Description: A short explanation of the tag’s purpose or criteria.
Click Add to save.
Click OK to close the creation window.

Setting Up Automatic Discounts
This feature is available for those who would like to set up automatic discounts for certain services or customers
Accessing Price Engine
Go to your RunLoyal staff portal in a Google Chrome browser (desktop or laptop required).
Open Settings.
Click on Pricing.
Select Price Engine.
Click Add New Rule to begin creating a discount rule.
Creating a Rule
Enter a name for your new rule (example: Royal Customer Discount).
Click the + icon to add rule guidelines.
Choose the pricing rule you’d like to use (example: Pet Owner’s Price Tag).
The most common trigger is a Pet Owner Price Tag, which applies when the tag is attached to a customer profile.

Select the price tag you want to apply (example: Royal Customer).
Applying to Services
Click the next + icon to select which services this pricing rule applies to.
Choose one or multiple service types.
Note: Pricing rules cannot be applied to quick checkout or package purchases — only appointment services.
Defining the Discount
Click the next + icon to set the type of discount.
Choose whether the discount is a Percentage or Dollar Amount.
Decide whether the discount will decrease or increase the price.
Enter the amount (example: 5 for a 5% discount).
Finalizing the Rule
Review your entries and click Save at the bottom corner.
When the success message appears, click OK to confirm.
