? Example Configurations
Recommended Setup – 1 point per $10 spent
Spend Range | Reward Points per $1 | Redemption Rule |
---|---|---|
$5–$10+ | 0.1 | 50 points = $20 off |
How it works:
Spend $10 → 0.1 × $10 = 1 point
Spend $50 → 0.1 × $50 = 5 points
Spend $500 → Earn 50 points → Redeem for $20 off
Effective return: 4%
⚠ Common Pitfall
Incorrect Setup: 1 point per $1 → $50 spend = 50 points = $20 redemption → 40% reward return (too high, impacts profitability)
? Pro Tips
Use decimal values for Reward Points per $1 to control reward value:
0.1 → 1 point per $10 spent
0.25 → 1 point per $4 spent
0.5 → 1 point per $2 spent
Always align point value with business goals to maintain profitability.
? Tracking Points
You can track a pet parent's points in their Profile → Credit Log. (Screenshot attached)
