How to Set Up and Sell Day Memberships (Day Passes)

Only applicable to Membership add-on Customers

1. Membership Details Setup
(Navigation: Membership Services → Membership Configuration → Add Membership)
Configure the basic details of the membership.

Membership Name: Displayed to customers (e.g., Day Pass).
Plan Type: DAILY.
Pet Type: Select the species (Dog, Cat, etc.) → cannot be edited once created.

Pricing Structures:

Tiered Pet Pricing: Price scales based on the number of pets.
Flat Rate Pricing: Single price regardless of pet count.

Additional Settings:

Maximum Pets Allowed: Define minimum/maximum pets (e.g., 1–2).
Check-in Options:
- Unlimited or Count-based
- Example: 1 check-in per day
- Set the maximum pets allowed per check-in

2. Membership Overview
The overview section displays key membership details:

Membership Name
Service/Quantity (Credits)
Price by Pet Count
Frequency (e.g., DAILY)
Active Dates

Actions available: Edit, Delete, Activate/Deactivate

3. Adding a Unit (Membership Area)
When creating or editing a membership, configure which units the pass applies to.

Options available:
- Daily Pass (Weekday)
- Weekend Pass (Fri–Sun)

You may select one or both, depending on your business requirements

4. Configuring Pricing (Membership Pricing)
Set up membership pricing and additional fees:

Membership Price ($): Enter the base price for one pet (e.g., $12.95).
Tax %: Specify applicable tax (e.g., 8.25%).
Activation Fee: Optionally enable an activation fee.
Freeze Fee: Configure a freeze fee for recurring memberships, if needed.

5. Business Hours & Availability (Membership Hours)
Define when the membership can be used with the calendar view.

Once memberships are set up, you can sell them to pet parents:

Navigate to Quick Checkout (QC).
Search for a Pet Parent by name.
Select Add Membership.
Choose the correct Membership (e.g., Day Pass).
Click Add to Cart.
Proceed to Payment to complete the purchase.

You can also sell a membership from the pet owner profile by navigating membership section and clicking on Add Membership
