Creating Multi-Pet Discount Rules
All settings-related updates must be made on a desktop or laptop using Google Chrome.
Accessing Price Engine
Go to your Staff Portal.
Open the Settings tab.
Under the Pricing section, click on Price Engine.
Adding a New Rule
Click Add New Rule.
Enter a rule name (example: Multi-Pet Discount – 2 Dogs).
Create a separate rule for each total number of pets.
From the dropdown, select Number of Pets and choose the quantity (example: 2).
Under Services In, choose the associated service category (example: Boarding).
Select the amount type and whether the price should be decreased or increased.
Example: decrease the additional pet price by 20%.
You may also choose a fixed amount (example: decrease by $20).
For boarding/lodging services, this is calculated per night/per day. For other services, it applies as a one-time discount.
Click Save to finalize.
A success message will appear. Click OK to exit.
Adding Rules for Additional Pets
Click Add New Rule again.
Repeat the process for additional quantities (example: 3 pets, 4 pets, 5 pets).
If a pet owner has 3 dogs, a rule must exist for a quantity of 3.
It is recommended to create rules for up to 5 pets total.
