Open your staff portal using Google Chrome. All settings-related updates must be done on a desktop or laptop.
Adding a Default Tip to an Invoice
Go to the invoice where you want to add a tip.
Click Tips.
Click Add Tip.
Choose the tip amount type — Percentage or Dollar.
If selecting Percentage, choose a predefined option or enter a custom percentage.
Select the Tip Type as Default Tip.
Click Search, then select the staff member.
Click Add Tip to confirm.
Verify that the tip has been added successfully to the invoice for the selected staff member.
Automated Tips (For Staff-Based Services)
Go to Settings → Pricing → Manage Tips.
Under Staff Management, configure tip calculations as a percentage or fixed amount for each service or add-on.
Once configured, tips will be automatically calculated for payments made through terminals, saved cards, the pet owner app, or web link.
To manually add a tip, click Tips → Add Tips in the invoice.
Select Default or Advanced tip type and choose either a percentage or amount.
In Default, assign a staff member; in Advanced, the tip is added automatically. Click Add to apply.
To override a tip, click the edit icon next to the tip line.
To split tips, select Tips → Assign Tip.
All automated or manual tip changes are visible under the Invoice History tab.
Assistants Commission and Tips (For Staff-Based Services)
Add assistants at the service level and define how many can be assigned.
You can also assign tasks to assistants.
In Staff Management, configure assistant commission and tips as a percentage or fixed amount, either globally or per service.
Assistants can be added from the Appointment Menu.
Assistants can also be added from the Pet Owner Profile or Pet Profile.
Alternatively, add assistants from the To-Do menu or Full Run Card using the Add Assistant icon.
When assistants are added, commissions and tips are automatically calculated based on your setup and displayed under Invoice History.
Sales Commission
Go to Settings to enable sales commission for services, add-ons, and Quick Checkout purchases (such as Packages, Memberships, and Training).
In Staff Management, configure sales commission as a percentage or fixed amount for each service.
You can also configure a Global Sales Commission to apply to services without specific settings (like Lodging, Memberships, Packages, and Training).
Commissions can be configured during Quick Checkout for packages, memberships, or training services.
Note: This is not applicable for pet owner app or web link purchases. You can still add a sales commission in Quick Checkout and send an invoice.
Add or edit sales commission for confirmed or checked-in appointments using the Add Sales Commission button under Edit Appointment.
The calculated commission will appear under the Invoice History tab.
