Sometimes, staff members may still face issues if their device is reporting the wrong GPS location. Use these steps to verify and fix the issue.
Confirm the GPS Reading
Ask the staff member to visit:
https://gps-coordinates.org/
Have them share the address and coordinates displayed.
If the address seems incorrect, their computer’s GPS is likely off.
Recommended Workarounds if GPS Is Incorrect
If the computer’s GPS is unreliable:
✔ Use a mobile device for accuracy
Perform clock-in/out using the mobile phone browser, or
Use the Staff App.
✔ If they have an iPad
They can have a Kiosk license, which supports:
Pet Owner check-in
Staff clock-in/out
✔ If they must use a computer
Use an external GPS dongle such as this one:
(GlobalSat DG-388AT Bluetooth GPS)
(This helps the computer report accurate coordinates.)
Ensure Location Access Is Enabled in Chrome

In Chrome
Open Chrome → click the three dots (top right).
Select Settings.
Go to Privacy and security.
Click Site settings.
Under Permissions, choose Location.
