Service Duration Based Services

Appointments are scheduled based on the average duration of the service.

  • Create a Service Category → Type: Staff Service Duration Based

  • Add Service → Select the created category → Input "Average Duration" for the service

  • Set Business Hours (e.g., 9 AM – 5 PM)

  • Setup Staff Hours in the staffing calendar (e.g., 9 AM – 6 PM)

  • Appointment Interval is generated based on service duration (e.g., 1 hr service = 1 hr slots)

  • Appointment displays in the Pet Owner page

  • Once booked (e.g., Fri 16 Aug 2024, 10–11 AM), that slot is blocked from new booking

Slot-Based Scheduling – Slot by Staff

Appointments are scheduled within predefined staff-specific slots.

  • Create a Service Category → Type: Staff Slot by Staff Based

  • Enter Staff Profile Details → Max Pets/Day (e.g., 6), Slot Duration (e.g., 30 mins)

  • Appointment Interval is generated based on the slot duration

Slot-Based Scheduling – Global Slot Duration

Appointments are scheduled based on a global slot duration across all staff.

  • Create a Service Category → Type: Staff Global Slot Duration Based

  • Add Service → Select the created category → Input "Average Duration"

  • Appointment Interval is generated based on the global slot duration (e.g., 40 mins)

Staff-Based – Bulk Drop Off Scheduling

Appointments allow multiple pets in a single slot.

  • Create a Service Category → Type: Staff-Based Bulk Drop Off Scheduling

  • Enter Staff Profile Details → Max Pets/Day (e.g., 5), Slot Duration (e.g., 30 mins)

  • Appointments allow multiple pets to be booked in the same slot
