Setting Up Staff - Based Pet Services

Service Configuration

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Select Business Setup.

  3. Click on Service Configuration.

  4. Under Service Category, click Add.

  5. Provide the following information:

    • Service Category Name

    • Pet Type (for which this service is offered)

    • Service Type → Staff-based

    • Appointment Approval → Choose Automatic or Manual:

      • Automatic: Appointment is instantly confirmed when the pet owner requests it via the app or web.

      • Manual: You must review and confirm the pet owner’s appointment request.

  6. Check the box: Display this service for the first pet or first appointment, and include required items (e.g., medication, card on file, vaccines, questions).

  7. Click Add.

  8. Under Services Section, click Add.

  9. Define Service Details:

    • Service Name

    • Average Duration

    • Description

    • Calendar Display Color

    • Toggle Hide Service (if it should not be visible to pet owners).

  10. Click Add.

  11. Under Add-On Services, click Add.

  12. Define Add-On Details:

  • Add-On Service Name

  • Description

  • Average Duration

  • Calendar Display Color

  • Toggle Hide Add-On (if it should not be visible).

  1. Click Add.


Setting Business Hours for a Service

  1. Navigate to Business Hours: Go to Settings → Business Setup → Business Hours.

  2. Select the service you want to set business hours for.

  3. Customize Daily Hours:

  • Choose Start & End Times.

  • Options include Pickup, Drop-Off, or Both.

  • Choose if hours apply to a specific day, every week, or a date range.

  1. Click Apply.

  2. Review the set Business Hours (they will now display for the service).


Setting Pricing for Services & Add-Ons

  1. Access Pricing Setup: Go to Settings → Pricing → Price List.

  2. Select the Active Price List.

  3. Choose the Service Category to add pricing (e.g., Dog Grooming).

  4. Click the Edit button next to the service.

  5. Define Pricing:

  • Choose Pricing Structure → per appointment, per pet day, or per hour.

  • Enter Regular Price and Tax.

  1. Require Deposit (Optional):

  • Check Require Deposit.

  • Specify Peak Day Deposit, Non-Peak Day Deposit, and Deposit Percentage.

  1. Click Update.

  2. For add-ons: Click the Edit icon next to the add-on.

  3. Configure add-on pricing the same way as services.

  4. Click Update.


Assigning Staff to a Staff-Based Service

  1. Navigate to Staff Management: Go to Settings → Business Setup → Staff Management.

  2. Click Add Staff.

  3. Enter staff details: First Name, Last Name, Email, Mobile Number.

  4. Select the appropriate Staff Group.

  5. Assign the staff member to the Service Category and Services they will handle.

  6. Click Add.
