Setting a New Password for a Pet Owner in RunLoyal
This guide explains how to manually set a new password for a pet owner in the RunLoyal platform. The process below shows the steps to update a password directly from the admin portal.
Steps to Set a New Password
1. Open the pet owner's profile
From the RunLoyal pet owner's list, open the pet owner's profile.
Example: John Smith.
2. Click "Manage Access"
Click on the Manage Access button to open the password management screen.
You can either send an email to the owner or set a new password manually.
3. Enter and save the new password
Type the desired password in both the Set password and Confirm password fields.
Click Save.
4. Confirm the change
A confirmation message will appear stating "New password has been set".
Click OK to finish.
Notes
Ensure that the password meets the platform’s security requirements.
If the pet owner prefers to set their own password, use the Send Email option instead of manually setting it.
After changing the password, advise the pet owner to log in using their updated credentials.
