Setting a New Password for a Pet Owner in RunLoyal

This guide explains how to manually set a new password for a pet owner in the RunLoyal platform. The process below shows the steps to update a password directly from the admin portal.


Steps to Set a New Password

1. Open the pet owner's profile
From the RunLoyal pet owner's list, open the pet owner's profile.
Example: John Smith.




2. Click "Manage Access"
Click on the Manage Access button to open the password management screen.
You can either send an email to the owner or set a new password manually.




3. Enter and save the new password
Type the desired password in both the Set password and Confirm password fields.
Click Save.




4. Confirm the change
A confirmation message will appear stating "New password has been set".
Click OK to finish.




Notes

  • Ensure that the password meets the platform’s security requirements.

  • If the pet owner prefers to set their own password, use the Send Email option instead of manually setting it.

  • After changing the password, advise the pet owner to log in using their updated credentials.
